The creation of the new Mountain Museum is dedicated to the first Portuguese in Tibet, Father Antonio de Andrade. The future structure is being developed in partnership with Naturtejo, the company responsible for the first inter-national geopark. Besides the Museum of the Mountain, the municipality will build a wharf on the Bayou of Alvaro and intend to enter the
village of ISNA in the network of Schist Villages. It was also announced that the Board is preparing the opening of the Inn of St. Margaret in 2011, which represents an investment of three million euros. The
Inn, located in Oleiros, has 25 rooms, two suites, one apartment, gym, Jacuzzi, massage areas, conference rooms and pools.
Potters is part of the Geopark Naturtejo, and has an extensive religious heritage, with several churches, and also a cuisine of its own, which highlights roast kid, maranhos callum and wine.
