Cruise sector growing in Portugal

The Azores, Cape Verde, the Canary Islands and Madeira remain the most popular destinations. With an increased capacity on board new cruise ships, Europe is is offering new itineraries and more affordable prices to continue to attract cruisers. Since 2008, the number of passengers on Europeis cruise ships has grown 12%, despite economic conditions.
