. Meet the horses – For children. Children taking part in the programme are given an introduction to horses that includes not only riding but also learning to care for the horses and feed them (cleaning, grooming and diet) and about the animals’ personalities. The children also help with the daily chores carried out at the riding school (cleaning the equipment used during lessons, taking drinking water to the horses in the paddock and tidying away the tack, amongst other jobs).
